A Is for Apple Pie

A is for Apple Pie (unfinished, c. 2022?) This was a series of illustrations I made depicting the famous nursery rhyme in my own style. I sadly never finished it for one reason or another, but I think some of the illustrations look cool. If anything it was a fun exercise in colour theory and plot progression. The illustration with the owl is my personal favourite. I think the original idea was that the more the alphabet continues the more it descended into madness and surreality, playing with the conventions of a normal nursery rhyme book but I don't know if that would've been a bit too out there and confusing.
